Offering a terrace viewing the Lot and wellness centre, the Best Western Plus Hotel Divona Cahors is located just a short stroll away from the centre of Cahors. Of the two rooms we booked, one room was clean upon arrival. The view from the room of the bridge is beautiful. Room has nice amenities with Nespresso machines and kettle. Robes are super comfy. Staff was friendly.

Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. I have stayed here for the umpteenth time. It is an absolutely great hotel, excellent cuisine and friendly staff. The local cat is great :-)

The building and gardens are excellent, as is the location. There are many restaurants around the area. The hotel restaurant was full but looked good. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was clean and had all one would need. The room also had a balcony overlooking the square. We also used the car parking which was a few moments away.

Just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Bordeaux, a 5-minute walk from a tram stop, with free private parking and free WiFi, Bordeaux Cosy B&B has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a terrace. Excellent service and great hospitality

Boasting a bar, shared lounge, patio and free WiFi, Hotel Les Pasteliers is situated in Albi, 800 metres from Albi Cathedral and less than 1 km from Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. The property was nicely located, close to both the train station and the historical sites. The room was very comfortable. What made the experience so memorable was Christophe, at the front desk, who helped us with directions, dinner reservations and even recharging our French SIM card.

The Renaissance is housed in a 17th-century mansion in central Castres. It offers air-conditioned rooms with traditional and antique furnishings. Each room also has a private bathroom and TV. I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. An absolutely stunning place! Also great staff and surprising large and comfortable family condo.

Located close to Rocamadour, this 17th-century mansion is set in a large, peaceful park and boasts panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Breakfast was excellent, so many choices and gluten free options too
