39 km from Musée des Confluences, Le Marais des Littes is a recently renovated property situated in Chonas-lʼAmballan and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The 200-year-old house at was redone with exquisite taste and modernization. The hosts were amazing, and provided meals mostly from the gardens on their property, or from sustainable local farmers. It was exquisite. They also had a pool and an area for lounging in the sun or the shade; I arrived too late to take advantage of that but it seemed wonderful. In private free parking on site which is always a bonus for me.

This is a beautiful, compact, chateau, slightly off the beaten track. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a creek running through the back of the property. We loved the quietness. Edouard cooked a delicious three-course meal for us in the evening, very good value for money. The home was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable.

A beautiful place to stay although the location is a little remote, however that means it is very quiet and relaxing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were kind enough to recommend places for dinner, one of which we followed.
