It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in hotels all over the world, some 5 star! The staff were great, the room was amazing. They provided 2 dog bowls and 2 lots of treats as we had 2 dogs with us, many hotels, despite knowing we have 2 dogs with us, only provide things for 1 dog. The lighting was fun as it could be controlled forma panel and kept changing :¬) The drinks in the mini bar were complimentary as was a drink before dinner. Dinner in their Asian restaurant was also excellent and so different. Breakfast was outstanding. It was only an overnight stop on the journey home across Europe, so we are planning to return, without the dogs as it is a 10 hour drive from us, in the spring to enjoy it more slowly.

The hotel location is great, serein and scenery is fantastic for a vacation. The location is 10 minutes away from the center or the old town, which makes it ideal to be in a calm environment but close to any night event you wish to plan.

Check-in was very good and fast, Room was spotless and very comfortable. The location was perfect for our trip.

Wonderful place with a beautiful courtyard and spacious rooms. I do want to point out, depending on whether the room faces the street or courtyard the noise level can vary as there is a tram passing right in front of the building and it does get a bit loud. However, our gracious host offered us another room instead on fifth floor with the view of the cathedral and facing the courtyard which we greatly appreciated. There was coffee in the room and the bathroom was huge! After 11pm there is no one at reception area, but with just one key you are able to open every door to access the building.

It is a more modern hotel. Extremely comfortable and well-appointed. No real restaurant for dinner. Great bar. Exceptional staff and service.

Very nice hotel in historic setting of Speyer, next to the Dome. Good parking facilities. Rooms are equipped very modern. Somewhat over priced, but this is conditioned by the outstanding location. In exchange you get a voucher for 10% discount in the nearby Brewery Domhof.
