This hotel is absolutely lovely, so very beautifully decorated, and just a 5-minute walk from the beach. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room was very comfortable, with the bonus of hot water! There are also great spots within the hotel to relax and unwind, because the hotel in itself is super beautiful. Highly recommended!

Pensaò Big Game Maio has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Vila do Maio. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mirco. I would recommend this place to anyone who travels to Maio

The property is located in the "Stella Maris" condominium, which from my experience having visited Maio multiple times is probably the best of its kind on the island. The apartment was well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials. The condo itself features a fantastic pool with stunning ocean views, which was the highlight for us. The price was fair, and the host Odair was communicative, quickly addressing any minor issues that arose.

The cottage is very nicely decorated; you immediately feel at home. It was very clean, both inside and outside on the terrace. Even without air conditioning it was pleasant inside. Thanks to the excellent, powerful shower, you can easily get rid of all the sand. The location is excellent; you are 5 minutes' walk from the beach. The hostess was extremely pleasant.

Featuring a garden and views of quiet street, A.M.A Appartament is a recently renovated apartment located in Calheta Do Maio, less than 1 km from Praia de Ponta Preta. The owners kindly arranged pick up from the airport at no extra cost. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts and shown into this delightful apartment, with amazing view of the sea. There was even a welcome pack of tea, coffee, suger, biscuits, fruit and water. The hosts arranged an island tour, which they accompanied us with other guests and it made the holiday. They do everything to make your stay comfortable, including washing & drying some clothes prior to departure as the machine was broken.
