Your must stay if you’re visiting La Fortuna. Leo is one of the most genuine and kindest people we have ever met, nothing was too much trouble. You can tell he works so hard and he really made out stay. The highlight of our stay was the free evening night tours round their beautiful garden at the end of the property. Leo showed us various frogs, birds and insects and then told us about them. Make sure you go back in the day too! Each morning we sat and watched the birds while Leo explained what each one was, followed by a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are very spacious and very clean with every appliance you could possibly need and a private sheltered parking space. We would 100% return, we cannot thank Leo enough for such a great stay.

What a place! Xilopalo was the highlight of my stay in Costa Rica. Incredibly welcoming, amazing facility, super friendly and helpful staff. Armando's sloth tour was great and they helped with all the programs and bookings. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended!

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Great view for the volcano when the weather is nice. The garden is amazing with beautiful flowers and birds. Well equipped, cozy room, hotel stuff was really friendly, the pool was nice. The breakfast was okay, not really special. It is close to the center of the town, many restaurants are nearby.

Matatagpuan sa layong 14 km mula sa Arenal Volcano National Park, nag-aalok ang Lomas del Volcan ng mga luntiang hardin, outdoor pool, at hot tub. Forget reading reviews at other hotels and weighing your options--do yourself a favour and just stay here. It is amazing, clean, your bungalows are comfortable. Each has a great back porch with sitting area directly facing the volcano. Food was excellent--the buffet breakfast was exceptional, and dinner and room service options were delicious, quality and value for money

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... The views on the volcano are breathtaking! I couldn’t get enough of these views. The trails on the property are very nice, I saw a coati while walking and the great curassow. The « Nest » was very fun to climb. The free guided tour was a blast!! The guide showed us magnificent toucans, rainbow eucalyptus, oropendulas, hummingbirds, sleeping frogs. The jacuzzi was very enjoyable, I saw a small snake and a giant frog close to the jacuzzi. The deck in front of the restaurant was also nice to observe birds. The property is just full of wildlife! That makes it exceptional ! The restaurant itself is nice, the special of the day (Mexican tacos) was amazing.

Lovely spacious room with view of Arenal Volcano. Pool areas were amazing and breakfast was great. Highly recommend the spa too.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. This is a great hotel. More like a vacation village. Highly recommended, especially with kids. But also fun for adults. Swim up bar, great drinks and food.

Situated in Fortuna, 2.8 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabinas La Catarata features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We had an incredible stay! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was amazing. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the view was simply breathtaking. We loved every moment of our time here and can’t wait to come back!
