Senda Maloka Barlovento is a beachfront Hotel located 2 km from the entrance of Tayrona National Park. The view is just breathtaking. We loved sitting and watching the view over breakfast and dinner. The pool by our suite was also super relaxing and had a wonderful view. We were also very impressed with the food and tours available from the hotel. All staff were so helpful

Boasting an open-air bath and views of sea, Casa Dos Almas is a recently renovated guest house situated in Guachaca, a few steps from Playa de Mendihuaca. The location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

The place is amazing if you want to stay close to the tayrona park. But don’t bring big bags because is difficult to bring them up there. The food was amazing and the personnel too.

The house is close to the beach and the river, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Jhon will always try to help you and give you advice to explore the area. You can walk 10 minutes to see the beautiful sunset at the Mendihuaca River. There is actually a house in front of Natyva that is still under construction, but the work would be between 9am and 4pm. We could really rest, you don't hear the party on the other side of the river ;) We were travelling with a small child and everything was fine for him. It is a safe place and a safe environment. We did some day trips from there to Guachaca and Buritaca. Best to have your own/rented car.
