Located in San Gil, 43 km from Chicamocha National Park, Trip Monkey del Río provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Stop scrolling through Booking, this is the perfect spot. Outside of town, but perfectly located on the main road to all the best adventure activities so it is super easy to catch a bus or taxi and the staff are always happy to help whether you're looking for public or private transportation. The restaurant on site is wonderful and there are a few other food options on the same complex. The rooms are very modern, spacious and extremely well kept. The bathroom comes well stocked with toiletries and their signature scent is really lovely, gosh I miss it! Everything is well ventilated so you can leave your gear to dry after watersports or if you would prefer to have it cleaned immediately, the laundry service is super quick and very affordable. Overall a really great spot at face value but the Trip Monkey staff are what really makes it special! Joss speaks perfect English and gives phenomenal recommendations. Give him an idea of what you like and he will have the perfect itinerary for you in seconds. There are a lot of great activities available through the hotel, all of which he has tried himself so just know the recommendations are coming straight from the heart! As an added bonus, you can pay for most of them through the hotel as well so you do not have to worry about carrying extra cash exploring. Fernando is an absolute sweetheart as well and always eager to help. The Santander region is extremely beautiful with something for everyone and Trip Monkey del Río is the perfect base camp. Stay as long as you can, this is the perfect place to make lifelong memories with the most wonderful people ☺️

Boasting city views, Aptahotel Guest House features accommodation with terrace, around 41 km from Chicamocha National Park. It is situated 41 km from Chicamocha Water Park and offers a shared kitchen.... The rooms had a lot of space, the furniture was nice.

Situated in San Gil, Hermoso Apto - C.C San Gil Plaza offers a patio with pool and city views, as well as a year-round outdoor pool, sauna and beauty services. We had a great stay at Hermoso Apartment. The place itself was clean, bright and offered a good view of the mountains! It had all what we needed for a comfortable stay, including own parking. We didn’t have time to use the amenities on the top floor (swimming pool, sauna etc.) but they looked amazing and offered also a great view. From booking to checking out, the process was easy and quick and Olibeth, the owner, was very prompt at communicating. Thanks Olibeth for a great stay. We would definitely consider coming back!

Hotel Boutique Casa Encanto Barichara is a 4-star property situated in Barichara. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. After a long drive from Villa de Leyva, it was a pleasure to arrive at this hotel in Barichara. It was beyond our expectations. The hotel is immaculate. Very new and clean but in a traditional style. The staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good. It is a small hotel right in the centre of town. They have a private garage to park.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Real Dream Hostel is a recently renovated guest house located in San Gil, 42 km from Chicamocha National Park. The location was perfect, close to the main square and to the bus station to go to Barichara. Bed is super comfy and the common area with hammocks is the best place to chill. The owner and the staff are really friendly and they will make you feel at home from the moment you step foot in the hostel. All the activities are available at the hostel for good prices. Breakfast was delicious. Least but not last, the sweet crazy cat Loki who acts like a dog!

El Principito Hospedaje in Barichara features 3-star accommodation with a garden. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This may be one of the most relaxing hotels I've ever stayed in. The place was a paradise, and matched perfectly to the relaxing and calm energy of Barichara. Gregory and Natalia are incredible hosts. They're super kind and always willing to help and make the guests' experience even better. I can't wait to be back and stay for a week!
