The property was decent enough. We had two beds, a small bathroom snd a good shower. Lots of good hot water in the shower. The thing that soured us the most was that we read on the checkout note that we would be charged a large amount if we did not wash the dishes. There were only 4 coffee cups, a few plates and silverware. We washed our 2 coffee cups in the bathroom sink so we wouldn’t be charged the crazy amount.
Other than that it was fine.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a decent place to park, but these properties are here to ease your pain. Options range from safe, underground garages, to secure spots within walking distance of the hotel.
Friendly and informative gentleman at check-in. He kindly let us grab our keys back the next morning, several hours after we turned them in to get something from our room. Nice, quiet location with seats on the porch for ground floor rooms perfect for sitting on to end the day. Close to the Yellowstone Northeast entrance (30ish minutes to Lamar Valley which is why we stayed). Much nicer than similar priced lodging we stayed at the night before in West Yellowstone. Parking directly in front of our room.
Location is great, but virtually any location in Cooke City is great, because there is one main road and almost every business is on it. We had a room with a view of the mountains behind Cooke City (south of town, although your head will tell you it's east), and we kept the drapes open all night long.
Parking was literally right in front of the building on the main drag in Cooke City.
Quiet town charm and hospitality of Cooke City in and around the motel especially the coffee shop next to the motel. Easy access to Lamar Valley and Beartooth Highway. Ample Parking
Location very central. Room clean, good parking, comfortable beds. No breakfast but was aware of this beforehand so not a problem. Good facilities within the room.
There was plenty of parking due to no one else staying there while we were there and we could park right outside our hotel door. It was quiet and peaceful stay. There was ample room in the suite and we didn’t feel crowded.
For a 2 star properly, this motel had good facilities. Room was comfortable and cosy. Parking was just outside the door. Room was clean and it was worth the money for a one night stay to visit the east end of the Yellowstone National Park.
Spacious, clean and well-equipped room. Very nice surroundings, and the location just a few km from the NE entrance to the Yellowstone NP. Convenient parking directly in front of the room. Well-working wifi.
Basic motel style accomodation just a short hop away from the entrance to Yellowstone and at the end of the amazing 212 highway. Basic room, but comfy beds, clean but a little dated. Parking no problem and check in and out can’t be easier. The property does have small cabin options over the room, and after staying we would recommend getting one of those if you can.
