The property was decent enough. We had two beds, a small bathroom snd a good shower. Lots of good hot water in the shower. The thing that soured us the most was that we read on the checkout note that we would be charged a large amount if we did not wash the dishes. There were only 4 coffee cups, a few plates and silverware. We washed our 2 coffee cups in the bathroom sink so we wouldn’t be charged the crazy amount.
Other than that it was fine.

He kindly let us grab our keys back the next morning, several hours after we turned them in to get something from our room. Nice, quiet location with seats on the porch for ground floor rooms perfect for sitting on to end the day. Close to the Yellowstone Northeast entrance (30ish minutes to Lamar Valley which is why we stayed). Much nicer than similar priced lodging we stayed at the night before in West Yellowstone. We had a room with a view of the mountains behind Cooke City (south of town, although your head will tell you it's east), and we kept the drapes open all night long.
