When we arrived, proprietress Margarida promptly emerged from her lovely florist shop to greet us and show us to our room, which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was dinnertime, and we asked what the choices were for a nearby restaurant and decided on her suggestion, Côta d'Azenha (reviewed on Trip Advisor under "Restaurante Cota").
We would return anytime to stay at Charrua do Mondego. It was very conveniently located and perfect in every way. No negatives at all.

Simply amazing place to stay for 7 motorcyclists. Ample secure parking on site.
We booked as an apartment villa and had a double room each. Facilities were excellent and honesty system in place for beer, wine, snacks etc. Very modern and clean throughout....1 min walk to town and nearby supermarket/bakers etc.

Very nice and beautiful place in the heart of the country side of Portugal. The app is very big and it has everything you need. The weather was a little bit capricious and when we arrived the heater was already waiting for us. Breakfast is simple but delicious with a touch of hosts homemade muffins, croissants, cakes, marmelade,... Fabiene is very nice and even though she doesn't speak english, she is always willing to help. We really felt like at home. If we are ever coming back to Portugal, we are definetly coming back to Fabiene's.

Very nice host, we had two nice bedrooms, the place was very cozy nicely decorated. Facilities to cook, no oven. Lovely outdoor areas, great view. Looked like it would be nice in warmer months, has a pool, ping pong table, likely good for family.

Luis was a wonderful host! very sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable. he gave us a tour of the vineyard and of all the property. the room was clean, comfortable, warm and had a beautiful view. breakfast was great! Luis made sure we had all we needed s vegetarians.
He also invited us to use their kitchen.

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious we were going to enjoy being here. In fact, in the end, we spent a lot of time in the house simply because it's such a lovely place to be. Quiet neighbourhood, breathtaking view from the balcony, extremely comfortable beds, and a properly equipped kitchen. Susana, our host, has thought of everything but is always open to new ideas!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
