The Camp - Lake Hawea (formerly The Lake Hawea Holiday Park) offers an authentic camping experience for guests and has been offering accommodations to campers, tourists and adventurers since 1971.

The tents were furnished very nicely, very comfortable. Access to the kitchen and community shower was easy and all very clean. Such a beautiful area with access to the water, town close by and many other amenities. Highly recommend!

We rented two apartments for one night. They seemed new and had all the basics we needed for our stay. We didn't use the cooking facilities but some basics like milk were stored in the fridge which we could have used had we wished to do so.

The apartment was in Albert Town, close enough to Wanaka to be convenient and in the same overall complex as a bar/restaurant, cafe/patisserie, ice cream shop and small grocery store. We were tired from travelling so very happy to just chill out in the apartment, making short trips to get supplies!

    The size of the apartment is very good. The view from the apartment to the lake was lovely. The ability to do clothes washing was an extra bonus. There is covered parking. A big balcony covered In morning sunshine and quite usable if the weather is not too cool. If looking for a quiet place this is it. The bed is comfortable with a large chest of draws for storage as there is no closet. A decent bathroom with room for toiletries. You own toiletries as none are supplied.

    Good location and parkland setting, spacious cabin. Comfortable beds and close to amenities. Parking right outside the door. Good cooking and kitchen area. Amenities clean and conveniently located very close to cabins. Kettle inside cabin. Outside lounge chairs. Would stay again.

    The rooms were fantastic. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. They have dedicated parking. You can kayak on the lake or even go for a swim. They have a dedicated space. Breakfast was good. They have different ways of making eggs and there are couple of options for cereals. There are couple of restaurants in Lake Hawea but Wanaka is 15 kms away and has multiple restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores.
