Beautiful location. Accommodation is very well-maintained , clean and has a very nice atmosphere. Regina & Klaus are very helpful and friendly. They are easy to reach and they provide useful information prior to our arrival.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The location is awesome - right near Skaftafell & views were wonderful from the bar upstairs. We were in the main building and parking was very convienent. The dinner in the restarant was good and no reservation was needed when we went in. Breakfast was good & plentiful. All the staff we interacted with were helpful.
Not much in that area. The place was clean, and looked fairly new. Location was great for what we needed. Breakfast spread was “ok”. Scrambled eggs were not that great. Was able to walk around the trails at the back. Parking was easy.
Plenty of parking lots in front of the hotel, however it tends to get packed.
Breakfast is included, wide variety but not the best quality.
Has lobby/reception area which feels polished, and there is a bar located on the 2nd floor which closes at 11pm.
Great location, beautiful setting, incredible views of mountains and glaciers. Checked in early evening then we walked a lovely, quiet trail from our room right to a glacier before sitting down to an excellent gourmet dinner. The room was small, with dated furnishing and twin beds, but had an up to date, roomy, nice bathroom and was very clean and comfortable. Very close to National Park entrance (parking lot). The breakfast was very nice. The room had a huge window that we could open to let in that marvelous fresh air.
Excellent location. You can walk from the hotel to visit the glacier behind. Plenty of free parking. There is a large bar upstairs with a good happy hour and outdoor terrace with views. For a cheap filling mean, pop across the road to the diner attached to the petrol station opposite
Convenient location with ample free parking spaces. There is a beautiful glacier literally at walking distance in the backyard (not well-indicated, but just ask the reception)! Food is decent, but nothing special and fairly expensive.
Great location, very friendly staff, free parking available. Very close to the glaciers. Good selection of food at breakfast. Not a huge selection in the restaurant (ala la carte) however meals look and taste awesome.
