This was the nicest accomodation I’ve stayed at in terms of the condition of the hotel and extremely nice owners. When we checked in, we found out that the nearby restaruant was closed and because it was all dark already, my partner was worried about driving. So we wanted to just eat whatever snacks we had. We had some canned tuna and some dried oatmeal. So the owners were kind to offer us each a bowl with hot water so we can cook our instant oatmeal so we have some food for the night. Then upon checking into our room, the room is spacious , quiet, nicely decorated , and has a pretty ambience to it. The shower was also very unique since it shoots water out in multiple directions - from the top, neck area, stomach area, and a handheld faucet. We had a very nice restful sleep there. And for breakfast, we didnt get their buffet breakfast and ordered an expresso Freddo instead. They offered a complimentary homemade pie which was very delicious and nice of them. Beautiful hotel, beautiful views, but, more important, beautiful people! Worth every single bend of the road to it! I almost felt like in a boutique hotel, but one with decent prices! It is full of beautiful little things. Even books, in our room too! Sparkling clean, comfy beds, large bathroom. Balcony with beautiful views of the valley and the mountains. Simple but tasty food. The beef stew and beef meat balls were delicious. Good breakfast too. And to make it even better, it was accompanied by beautiful classic music :) ! Very good starting point to visit Zagoria with its beautiful stone bridges. We stayed here for only 1 night, but we would definitely like to return!

Beautiful location and rooms. Multiple hiking trails and a couple restaurants available right from walking out your door. Walking downhill to Vitsa to some of the other restaurants can be dangerous at night as there are no street lamps (so driving is recommended even though getting back into the parking lot is… difficult 🤣). The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very accommodating.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Zagori, Guesthouse Lucas is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Spacious room with a view. Cozy common area with a fully equipped kitchen. Lucas is an exceptional host with knowledge of the area, he gave me some tips for hikes in the area. The location is great - close to Vikos gorge.
