Such a beautiful cottage with a stunning view of the hills from my room and the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in! I arrived soaking wet after a long walk and Lynne dried all my stuff. She even has a boot drier! There was a lovely fire and an amazing breakfast set me up for the day of walking ahead. I will definitely go back.

Lovely old Inn with stunning views, a microbrewery, award winning pies and beautiful walks straight from the door.
The Inn is in one of the quieter Dales down a single track road. There is ample parking outside. It has a beer garden and tables outside the front of the building. Best to book dinner as it is very popular and quite small inside.

We loved everything. The beautiful old pub. The lovingly restored bedrooms and modern bathroom. The location in the center of the tiny village in beautiful Wharfe Dale. The owners Shelly and Dan(chef) are great, friendly and accommodating. The menu is inspired and changing, def the best meals we had during our two week adventure. It’s also a great place to meet locals, fellow guests and hikers over a pint. Also I’d like to thank the rest of the extremely hard working and friendly staff who made our stay simply amazing.

Sweet spotless cottage annex. Lovely hostess Vicki. The location was perfect; across from the National Park parking lot with immediate access to multiple hikes in the DALES.
Comfortable bed and kitchenette for morning breakfast . Bring groceries as there is no immediately local opportunity.
Warm welcome, good food, nice log fires, quiet location, plenty of parking.
When we arrived the host said that they had a heating issue, so we were given a fan heater to put in our room, which was very necessary. We booked for two nights, but were unable to return to The Buck for the second night due to roads being closed due to flooding. The staff were very helpful and are sending our bag on to us by courier.

Great location just south of Wensleydale. Lots to see locally. Great walking and cycling. The Buck Inn was large, spacious and plenty of parking space. The manager John was friendly and accommodating and the staff were lovely to talk to and friendly and helpful. The room looked recently refurbished and clean and tidy. The pub did excellent food and a good selection of local ale. I would certainly visit again.
Everything - staff, room, breakfast, evening meal, plenty of parking, great for walking and travelling to other areas. Highly recommended and I will stay there again. THANKS.

I stayed for one night as a solo traveller on a Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Inn. My room was very clean with an en-suite shower. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff and the food was great for both dinner and breakfast. Lovely relaxed but busy atmosphere and a good selection of beers. Beautiful location and ample parking.
