Kadojin features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Tenkawa. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. The location was picturesque and overall incredibly pleasant to look around at. The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.

Staff, the quality of amenities for personal care, public bath comfort, luxury hotel. All you need is there. Close to the Nara JR station. shops, restaurants, convenience stores and the main street to the deer park.

Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. With a minute to walk to Nara Station, this was the perfect hotel to stay at and explore Nara. The facilities were beautiful and the staff great. I forgot some clothes at the hotel and they were kind enough to organize to send them to my next accommodation. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the onsen that night, but the room with the massage chairs and the lounge with free ice cream were nice. Everything from the public areas to the rooms was super clean. Although the room itself could be considered small, I actually found it comfortable and sufficient for a short-term stay.

Only a 1-minute walk from the east exit of JR Nara Train Station, the modern Super Hotel Lohas boasts a natural hot-spring bath and a breakfast with fresh-baked bread. We stayed for a night. Awesome location, both close to the station as well as a quick bike ride to major cultural and touristic sites. The staff was very accomodating and helpful! Plus gave us nice amenities. Good food options close by, and overall great stay.

Situated in Tenkawa, Atarashiya Ryokan offers accommodation with seating area. This is an exceptional place! Tugged away in the magical village of Dorogawa Onsen, their Ryokan welcomes its guests with care, very friendly staff and all the comfort one could hope for. The food was delicious and the Onsen perfect to wind down after a day of hiking and cherish the uniqueness if Japanese culture and geology. Compared to other Onsen Ryokans of the same level, the price was reasonable and even staying only one night (which I did) is enough to immerse into the experience. I highly recommend hiking up to Dorogawa on the way there along the Mitarai Valley Hiking Trail!
