Det 2-stjerners Onsen Guest House Tsutaya ligger i Hakone, 7 km fra både Hakone Lalique-museet og Hakone botaniske hage for våtmark. The decoration, the calm, the onsen was amazing. The value for money. The "capsules" are somehow very comfortable and noise isolation is decent. People is respectful and toilets were always clean.

We couldn't recommend highly enough if you are looking for a splurge hotel in the Hakone area, you will feel spoiled.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of mountain, YUPOPPO Hakone is situated in Hakone, 43 km from Fuji-Q Highland. This was my first experience staying at a ryokan, and I am so happy with how everything turned out. The "Family Room" was the only option left for the dates that I booked, so even though it was only my husband and I staying, we are so glad that we ended up with that large room in particular. It was incredibly spacious, and it even had its own toilet (the other room options have a shared toilet.) Dai was a great host. He let us check in a bit early and gave us a brief overview of the place. He was very hospitable, but not intrusive by any means. The entire facility appeared very clean and well-kept. The train theming was a cute touch. Wifi was great, private onsen was nice, and the meals were delicious. Only a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
