This was a great place to stay. The staff were super friendly, the welcome lounge is very comfortable and the baths are so relaxing. The rooms are a really good size and look out over the river. The buffet style dinner and breakfast are delicious with a wide range to choose from.

The location worked for us as we were on our way to Towada lake. They have private parking which was important for us as well as refrigerator in the room. Also, restaurants were within walking distance . The price was good value for what it is.

The staff were kind and accommodating. This hotel has an onsen with a separate one for female customers.
The facilities are quite old, but the bath and restroom are renovated and clean. I had a comfortable sleep.
I also liked the welcome drink and ramen.
The Akita dog museum is nearby, although the dogs were not in the mood to show off when I went there.
Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as "onsen," these hotels offer a relaxing soak in therapeutic, geothermal waters. Traditionally onsens were located outdoors, but a number of hotels now offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with "kuroyu" black water famous for its positive effects on skin.
Free welcome drinks include free-pour sake & nikka whisky ! plus of course coffee, tea juice etc. onsen bath very large and 2 river side open air baths as well.
Staff st reception didnt speak english which i dont expect them to, but did have a translator so was easily able to communicate. Location is gotgeous but there is not a lot by way of shops once you get there. Onsen was lovely with an i side and an outside bath and a little sauna.
The calm, the hotel in itself, the onsen, the amazing food and warming staff. The rooms were amazingly big for Japan and the view was breathtaking. If you spend a few days it might be good to have a car.
hotel stuff gave us a lot of helps on early check in and give us a ride to nearest bus station so we can go out to town to have dinner. the room is clean and big, the hot spring is good.
We stayed in a ryokan room, very big, clean and spacious. Service was exceptional, hotel staff were very helpful and polite and took an extra mile to assist us with our enquiry.
