Cleanest place we've stayed at in quite a while with a VERY comfortable king size bed. ALL of the staff were great in every way. They even provided me with a parking area for my larger pickup, out of the way of other people yet still safe. We'll go there again, no problem.

The rooms are very, very clean with updated appointments and amenities. The room size is efficient, however adequate. The grounds are meticulously maintained and very colorful, with a wide variety of blooming plants and shrubs. The owners live on site and are attentive to your needs. They are also very friendly! The available bagged ice and bottled water was very convenient and saved us trips to the store. Of course, the location is just perfect. I highly recommend this property.

This hotel is just 3.2 km from Newport city centre and the Mansions and 3.1 km from the Newport Naval base and Corporate Parks. Facilities include a heated indoor pool and free WiFi access. The staff on the week Dec 23 thru 27 2024 Howard Johnsons were very accomodating and patient. I

Good dining options nearby (Cindy's for an excellent breakfast) Room was clean, bed reasonably comfortable, better than expected given the look of the place from the outside. Would stay here again.

Location is great, quiet, close to the beach and so much more. Staff were friendly, place was clean & they make it homey and accommodating. I love sitting out on the balcony and looking out at the bay.
