This Santa Barbara Motel, 15 minutes’ drive from the University of California Santa Barbara, offers a complimentary daily breakfast buffet and free bicycles to its guests during their stay. Location was great. Bikes were a bonus. The room was big enough for our family of 5. There was a small kitchenette. Games available in the courtyard was great.

Great vibe. The front desk help was EXCEPTIONAL. Would recommend for a solo or group stay. Hope to visit again someday.

Located less than a minutes’ walk to the beach, this pet-friendly Santa Barbara motel offers an outdoor pool and modern guest rooms with cable TV. State Street is 5 minutes’ drive away. Very clean and updated comfortable room. Close to the ocean but far from State Street and cafés and shops. I many of the staff are finally covered when I first arrived, and they were not welcoming or friendly. There was luggage being stored, and I asked if I could store mine because I had to run to a work meeting and I would be back in the late afternoon, and they refused. Then they charged me a $20 early check-in fee and I was only there three hours early. The manager looked at me but didn’t smile and just kept talking to the staff about a training very loudly and acted as if she wasn’t happy that I was there. I felt unwelcome.
