Surrounded by bushland Brookby Motel offers accommodation 5 minutes' walk from Thames shops, restaurants and cafes. Free car parking is available outside each room. Spacious, well designed accommodation, spotlessly clean and with bonus of small balcony which caught the afternoon sun. Very pleasant staff. Thoroughly recommend.

The Olive Motel offers modern accommodation including studios and spacious suites, with heating and air-conditioning. All guests have access to free WiFi and free on-site parking facilities. Great location; just short walk to town center. Immaculately clean and modern updated facilities. The kitchen has a stovetop (hob), fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave and is fully equipped with cutlery, dishwater, classes and cooking and serving utensils. Comfortable bed with nice clean linens. David the owner is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately during our stay and just before he had a succession of entitled and demanding guests and he was a little rattled. Having spent a career in customer service I admire his patience. Please ignore the negative reviews in late December; they are not true.

Set on 1.5 acres of native landscape. The Church Accommodation is a 5-minute walk from Hahei Village and a 10-minute walk from Hahei Beach. Lovely location and full of character.

Coromandel Seaview Motel is situated between the mountains and the sea of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is close to renowned saltwater fishing and a number of outdoor activities. Was a nice breakfast, creative and filling, cold breakfast. service was outstanding from the hosts. they even said next time they will give more service, like extra facilities and very friendly people, highly recommend

Set in Thames, Sunset Motel features barbecue facilities and a garden. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. This is a gem of a place with lovely clean rooms and great staff. They have a BBQ in the garden which is lovely with a table and chairs. The rooms are spacious and each unit has an outdoor space. Added bonus right near the ocean and has fabulous sunsets.

Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court. The location was very good. Our 2nd floor room had good views of the bay. We could walk to the CBD. The pool area was large and was an excellent place to relax.
