It was surprisingly modern given the basic nature of the rest of the guesthouse. The grounds were beautiful and clearly well looked after. The staff were communicative and friendly.

The room was spacious and comfortable and super clean. The view of the river is gorgeous and the overall vibe is very nice and relaxed. Good variety at breakfast and tasty. The staff were also really welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Although we left the hotel to explore the area we didn’t need to there was plenty to do in the hotel. We especially enjoyed the singer at dinner on our first evening. Most entertaining and a nice touch thank you.

The rooms are really clean, big & comfy, & staff are friendly offering a in house laundry service at good price. The swimming pool is lovely & there is access to a nice pedestrian/cycle pathway in each direction along the Mekong. If you are after a little luxury along Yr travels then this is probably up there in terms if that in Chiang Khong.
