The property management sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and upgraded us to a two-bedroom penthouse apartment in a different building with a much better, central location and view. Nestled near the stunning Meteora rocks, this accommodation was not only impeccably clean and authentically traditional but also boasted a perfect location in a town called Kalabaka. The hosts were incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable by treating us to their delicious homemade liqueur and wine and also helping us with suggestions for a hike. It is very comfortable and has everything one needs for vacation. The view is superb, the washing machine a bonus. We would stay there again in a second and regret we did not reserve it for longer. A warm welcome, all the information you could want, and eggs from the owner’s own chickens for breakfast. The home made jam was outstanding!
