The location, right on Elephantine Island, very close to the boat landing; The cleanliness and care of the spaces; The fantastic view from the bedroom window; The dinner the owner prepared for us (very tasty, good portion, good price). A simple and humble room with good quality/price ratio

Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan, hotel in Aswan

Exotic resort in the middle of the Nile on an island near the centre of Aswan. 28 acres of landscaped gardens with magnificent views of the Nile, mountains and Aswan city.

The hotel being on a tiny island seemed like a very cool idea, but the experience was not great. Positive side: The boat available to go back and forth from the hotel operated 24 hours a day. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the taxi service/tours were very helpful, organising everything efficiently and at good prices.

Five Star Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor, hotel in Aswan

Featuring a balcony with lake views, a rooftop pool and a bar, Five Star Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor can be found in Aswan, close to Nubian Museum and 24 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum.

A trip that exceeded my expectations in all respects. The Royal Viking offered a luxurious experience from its fittings and decor to its cuisine and the solicitous attention of its staff. Our cabin was super comfortable with great views from the sliding full length windows. The lounge and restaurant were very plush and the food was very good and varied. The staff were super attentive. The booking is with an agent, Mohammed, who organised everything for us, including our cruise and several excursions - to awesome temples en route and in Luxor, and the most magical balloon flight at the end in Luxor. Mohammed’s communication was excellent and he was responsive to every request. Recommended wholeheartedly.

Great place in Aswan, we stayed 4 nights in the apartment. The apartment provides all the stuff is you need, like washing machine, clean towers. Clean and beautiful apartment. And it is easy to call the car and go to various viewpoints, around 15 mins from city centre. Mohammed is really helpful and nice, even we arrived Aswan at midnight 2 am. He still waiting for us and help us carry luggage. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is amazing. An elite hotel on the banks of the Nile. The view from our room was wonderful. It was wonderful to watch the felucas at sunset from the balcony of our room. Additionally, the food at the hotel restaurant was also extremely delicious. It is a 3 star hotel, but according to Egyptian standards, I think this hotel deserves 5 stars. I would recommend it to everyone.

Aswan surprised us for good - and so did this amazing hotel. It's clear that it was a very luxurious hotel once upon a time, and it still has all of the outstanding service and guest-oriented attitude. The hotel has everything you need, from a restaurant to a small shopping area. You have ATM machines right in the lobby, and the big swimming pool constitutes an amazing view. I will definitely go back here.

The Pyramisa is an outstanding hotel located on a private island. The free boat service to the ‘mainland’ gives it an exclusive feel, and yet it is not expensive to stay here. Breakfast was excellent, dinner is not quite as good, but still perfectly acceptable. The staff are fantastic- Faisal in particular was a star.

This hotel is a jewel. Beautiful paintings, sense of detail, quiet and clean room, splendid terrace (i stayed hours gazing on it), and most of all, lovely staff. Saïda, the manager, is exceptionnal ; worth a 5 stars prestation. Elephantine Island is nice to wander around Aswan. But to chill and gaze, Nubian village is way beyond in my opinion. I could seriously consider to spend an entire week in it, with a proper fruit shop !

Amazingly friendly hosts representing the true meaning of Nubian hospitality. The entire village is very relaxed and friendly, there are great places to eat minutes from the house. You can also ask the hosts to prepare dinner for you, their cooking is excellent and the breakfast is superb! The hosts can also help you book tours and transport and they give you a fair price (which is not so common elsewhere). This is definitely a diamond in the rough, and would certainly recommend staying at place for a few days if you have time.

They serve an excellent nubian breakfast, very tasty. In our case, since we were in a studio type room with an exclusive veranda, we had a the meals served there. They also serve a late breakfast and dinner, if you make previous arrangements. The view is superb, you get the genuine feeling of the Nile atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and supportive.
