Econo Lodge 1 stars

Newton

Located on Route 206, the Econo Lodge hotel is in the heart of the New Jersey Skylands Region. This hotel is minutes from Mountain Creek ski area, Mountain Creek Waterpark, the Delaware River, Sussex County Community College and Skylands Park baseball field. Rooms were basic but for a Motel really good. They were nice and big so plenty room to store luggage and move about freely without bumping into people or furniture. Air-conditioning was fantastic, and there was a microwave and a good sized fridge to store drinks and some snacks and the staff were extremely helpful. Also an Iron and Ironing board.

Econo Lodge 2 stars

Mount Laurel

The Econo Lodge hotel is located off the New Jersey Turnpike with easy access to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, just 15 minutes from the center of Philadelphia. This hotel is convenient to Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, the Camden Waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment district, the Adventure Aquarium and Battleship New Jersey. It’s very affordable and worth every penny. The most important thing is that during my stay I never once saw any evidence of any bugs whatsoever. Most places on this price range are infested, this place is definitely not. I’ve been here for a short extended stay and the staff has been very accommodating to anything I’ve needed. I lost my toothpaste and they handed me a fresh one along with packets of toothpaste! Everything works, the tv in your room, the ice machine. They even have a computer in the office for guest use and of course WiFi. The room is loaded with everything you need including bars of soap (that are actually usable), shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker with free regular and decaf coffee. Very comfortable mattresses, end tables with lamps with built in outlets to plug in your phone charger, a desk with another lamp with outlets, a tray with ice bucket, cold and coffee cups, even a little “notes” card and pen. Of course you also have your own HDTV with Xfinity cable on a very decently sized screen mounted on the wall opposite of the bed. Let’s just say that as a guy who knows tech, someone in the family here has a very good understanding of media, or they paid a professional installer a lot of money. So it’s a motel, not a hotel. It’s not designed to be high class, it’s designed to be comfortable and affordable. This place is very affordable and in my opinion the stay is worth more than they are charging. I’m fairly sure this is a location owned by a family and it definitely shows to me that they take a great deal of pride in their property. I’ve been really comfortable and have enjoyed binge watching Comedy Central between working hours, and I’ve been sleeping like a baby on this mattress.

Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk 3 stars

Atlantic City

Econo Lodge Beach and Boardwalk is near beautiful beaches as well as the Atlantic City Convention Center and Bernie Robbins Stadium. The Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall seaside entertainment centre is 7 blocks away. I like the place because it’s close to beach
