The room is lovely and Allie was really nice to introduce us to her sheep and chicken.

Flying trout boutique lodge is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in the world . We had a lovely suite upstairs with a panoramic view of lake Taupo . Breakfast is wonderful and Karen will insure you are pleased with everything served . Rob is helpful with area info and a few nights he drive us in to town for dinner . We would definitely stay at this charming lodge again - treat yourself if you are in lake Taupo

Located in Turangi, 48 km from Mount Ruapehu, and Taranaki Falls reachable within 48 km, Turangi Leisure Lodge offers a terrace, a spa and wellness centre and free WiFi. It was spacious and comfortable. A good bed and couch, a very complete kitchen with stove, magnetron, freezer and dishwasher. A spacious bathroom with a powerful hot shower. A little bit dated, but perfect. The premises offered swimming pool, hot tub, biljart, table tennis and midget golf. Mega supermarket nearby.

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River. Our villa was very cozy! Breakfast was delicious! The staff was quite welcoming and helpful. Our only regret is that we stayed only one night!
