Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. Excellent place to stay, friendly staff. The food was really good and the surrounding was very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were well-kept. The views from the room are fabulous. Must try the sunset dinner and the breakfast at the in-house restaurant. If visiting Langkawi will definitely stay here again.

Serenely situated in the middle of the rice fields, this place offers an amazing view and a peaceful atmosphere you can't imagine. Not many places can offer you beautiful sunrise and sunset on the same spot, yet this place does 🥰 Also, as it's in the centre of Langkawi, you can easily get anywhere else on the island with a motorbike (a better way to discover and enjoy Langkawi in our experience). Well-equipped facilitiy + super helpful staff / owner brought us even more enjoyable stay. We absolutely recommend this place.

Perfect, quiet location in the jungle, blending with nature - surrounded by monkeys, birds, squirrels. Perfect place for a peaceful family vacation. The villas were very clean, spacious. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Very pleasant. 10/10 stars. The staff also helped to organize transportation rental, both scooters and cars. Recommended places worth visiting. Thank you!
