The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

Very quiet and laid back, perfect spot if you're looking to hit the slopes all day and get a good night's rest. Transfers to and from the hills are absolutely mint. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

Akakura Onsen Kayak Tesisi"ne 4 dakikalık ve otobüs terminaline 4 dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde elverişli bir konumda yer alan Hunter Lodge, tesis genelinde ücretsiz Wi-Fi ve ücretsiz bagaj muhafazası... The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We were constantly greeted by smiles, asked if we needed help, and our kids were even given gifts when we left.

Akakura Onsen köyünde, Myoko Kayak Tesisleri"nin merkezinde yer alan Myoko Ski Lodge in Akakura Village, vadinin güzel manzarasına sahiptir. Tesiste ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimi sağlanmaktadır. I’d offer an 11th star if Booking.com would let me. The Myoko Ski Lodge is perfectly located and a lovely residence, but the hosts – Geoff and Tania – are what made this a truly amazing trip for us. This was our first time skiing in Japan, and we could not have picked a better spot to stay. It’s walkable to an Akakura Onsen chairlift as well as the free shuttle stop that can take you to Akakura Kanko. The hosts helped us with transport and gear rental on our first day, allowing us to hit the slopes quickly and easily. They also helped the two non-skiers in our group set up interesting activities for the week. Our rooms were very comfortable for our family of five, breakfast was plentiful, and the onsen (natural hot springs) on the first floor were the perfect way to end a day of skiing. The town is lovely, not too big, not too small, and plenty of easy dining options. We were a tiny bit leery of the shared spaces when we booked (as we treasure our privacy), but I’m convinced this is THE way to go for a ski vacation. We made some great friends on the trip and it was so nice to hang out around the fire and share stories over a drink or two with other guests. The kids had a blast and we all enjoyed playing games in the play area/den. It truly felt like a home away from home. I thought a Japan ski trip might be a one-time experience, but I’m convinced that THIS is the way to ski – zero lines, great snow, good food, small town (non-commercialized) feel, onsens, and hosts who seemingly live to share this great experience with their guests. We will be back for sure!

Akakura Kanko Kayak Merkezi"ne sadece 650 metre ve Akakura Onsen Kayak Merkezi"ne arabayla 5 dakika uzaklıkta yer alan Myoko Mountain Lodge, ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimine sahip rahat odalar ve bünyesinde... Wonderful hosts, great accomodation and nice food. Super nice stay.

Ortak mutfak ve salon sunan Kagura White Horse Inn, Yuzawa"da, Kagura Kayak Tesisi Mitsumata İstasyonu"na 100 metre mesafede yer almaktadır. The property was clean and cozy. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. The location of the property in conjunction to the ski lift was very ideal as well.

Myoko"da Zenkoji Tapınağı"na 31 km ve Nagano İstasyonu"na 33 km mesafede yer alan Pension Moomin Papa ücretsiz Wi-Fi, klima, bahçe ve ortak salon ile konaklama imkanı sunmaktadır. Papa was amazing! He provided transportation to and from the ski resorts (Suginohara and Akakura) was there on time each and every day and took me to town to pick up supplies and food. I felt like part of the family and and Mama is an absolutely amazing cook. There kindness and goodwill exemplifies true Japanese tradition and sincerity! Myoko"da Zenkoji Tapınağı"na 33 km ve Nagano İstasyonu"na 35 km mesafede yer alan Morino Lodge - Myoko ücretsiz Wi-Fi, klima, restoran ve bar ile konaklama imkanı sunmaktadır. The staff are awesome, make you feel at home and the entire vibe of the place is really relaxed. Big shout out to Dougie and the whole crew (sorry I didn't get everyone's names but they all remembered mine =)). The bartenders make great drinks, the drinks are priced really well (it's always happy hour), and the breakfast is solid every morning. The other facilities here are great for skiers/boarders. The dry room and waxing stations have everything and plenty of room for many guests. And a soak in their onsen was great every evening after ripping the slopes.
