We really enjoyed our stay at Yala Village Eco Tree House. The family and Stuff are super lovely and caring. We had a campfire, played games and enjoyed the noices of the animals. The rooms are easy but clean & comfortablE. We also booked our Yala safari with them and were lucky to see elefants, leopard etc. All in all we highly recommand to stay at this place!

The spacious and well appointed bungalows are set in a large garden, giving a very private and exclusive feel to the lodge. The swimming pool is lovely, and a real plus point. The staff were very kind and showed us a lovely walk to a beautiful local lake, which we repeated several times during our short stay

Being at Ranakeliya was a lovely little break from the up and down busyness of travelling across Sri Lanka. The nature setting is ideal for relaxation and well matches the safari atmosphere of a Yala visit. Good service from the staff. Meals were good too: breakfast was generous, ditto the Sri Lankan curry option. I had my breakfast upon return from safari in the afternoon and appreciated this option. Liked the look of the tent. I booked the group safari option through their contact person as it was more affordable and more suitable for a solo traveller.

The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Couldn’t speak strong English but always went above and beyond to make my partner and I feel welcome and comfortable. Sad to leave this place

This was such a nice stay. The host made us feel incredibly welcomed. The property is located just beside a large lake so you can go explore during the day. We went for a morning safari that was arranged by the property host which we loved! When it comes to the food: An amazing Sri Lankan breakfast which we couldn’t even finish. We also opened for 2 dinners made by them and these were restaurant quality meals that we just didn’t expect! Definitely ask for your dinner to be served there, you will not regret! (Sorry I wasn’t able to take better pictures:) )
