Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The location was very convenient for getting around Sapporo. It’s very close to the below ground level walkways, shops and trains/metro. This is especially good in Winter when it gets very cold and snowy. Our room was new and clean albeit a little excessive on the lodge theme.

Amazing friendly staff have built a fun, atmospheric place with a community vibe. I wish I could stay for weeks and weeks! The design really does feel like a mountain lodge, it's so cozy. All the highest quality drinks were stocked at the bar. My room was spotless and had everything I could need included. All 2 mins from the metro station. Such good value for money too. Absolutely the most comfy and cozy hostel you can find in Sapporo. The space in the bunk bed is very spacious and literally the most spacious one that I’ve ever lodged in, although I reside in hostels quite often when I travel alone! The owner is bloody brilliant! Super friendly, approachable and accommodating! I feel better staying here even than my home! I’ll definitely come back and live here again next time travelling in Sapporo! Tremendous thanks for building up this stunning lodgement and vibe for travellers like me!

The lodge was beautiful, similiar to American movies. The places where you sleep were very clean and spacious as much as those places go. The stay felt very magical and the food was very good.

SappoLodge staff was awesome! We could depend on them for everything from food, to company, to real local recommendations. The location was also quite convenient. Not exactly in the very center of things, but just a 10 minute walk from Susukino. Everyone here is very relaxed and easy-going. Also, even though it was a dorm, the beds were very comfortable, warm, and I could sleep well each night. Honestly, I want to stay longer…

Hospitality is A+ Location is excellent. Dining and drinking at SappoLodge is great. Food (I had salmon bake) was excellent. Locals love this spot so travelers will too
