The service from Mrs Ti and Mrs Kham was amazing. She booked the train for us also!
The victory gate of Vientiane, built using US funds intended for a new city airport, is a huge 1960s cement edifice commemorating victims of war. Surrounded by palms, lotus ponds, and a spectacular fountain, the four-gated archway dominates Patuxai park. Visitors can admire the elegantly painted underbelly of the tower from below, or climb seven stories of stairway for a more expansive view.
