Staff were ever so helpful and accommodating for our children and the views of Mount Fuji were amazing. We could see it from our room, from the Ibsen and also got great photos just a couple of minutes walk from our hotel. The free shuttle bus from and to the hotel was great too.

The hotel is located in front of Kawaguchiko Lake with Mount Fuji view at its back. So you would have a beautiful view of either the lake or Mount Fuji no matter which side your room is. We were given room 401 which sits in the corner facing the lake. However from the corner window, we had a breathtaking view of both the lake AND Fujisan. There's a free foot bath outside the hotel for guests that always looks inviting no matter the season (including summer!)

This was by far the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Beautiful decor with a mix of classic Japanese with the bamboo mats in the room, with modern facilities. Incredibly friendly staff, lovely communal areas inside and out, happy hour bar and a great dinner. Location was short walk from station and easy to get to Lake Kawaguchiko. We even got a view of the summit of Mount Fuji on the final morning.
