The location is exceptional - there is literally a glacier in the backyard! Gorgeous views, fantastic location for exploring Skaftafell, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond beach, etc. Less than 10 minute drive to Skafatell visitor center. The breakfast buffet was nice, but not fancy. Rooms are clean and cozy.

Clean warm and very well organized, nothing missed, properly maintained. Plenty pots and pans, salt pepper.and cooking oil. Beds are very comfortable. The highest pressure of a shower I have ever seen in my life. Quiet and spaced from other cabins enough to give privacy. Although small overall, there is so much space inside.

It's a very beautiful place run by very lovely staff especially the woman at the front desk, Bruno and Carlos. The chef made us a delicious gf/df dinner! Everyone made us feel very welcome and we wish we could have stayed longer!
