Pula Arena
Amazingly well preserved, this amphitheatre is the only one in the world to have four side towers remain intact. Starting life out in the first century AD, the once sand-floored venue is truly vast. Each year, the Pula Film Festival takes place in the arena and there are weekly recreations of gladiator fights.

Make sure you head to the section below the arena.
Make sure you head to the section below the arena. You can't get into this space in the Colosseum in Rome, so to be able to do it here is an amazing treat. Check in advance to see if there are performances on before you arrived. We did not know to do this and could have seen Robbie Williams perform in this ancient ruin! (it also meant it was closed for a couple od days for other visitors whilst the stage set was in place- bump out was super quick and it was back open the day after the last event)

Very nice if you want to feel like being in Gladiators era. That means you are ready to cheerleading the gladiators and Voting for execution ☠️ (just faking!).

Easy walk from train station and only 10 min walk to Pula Arena.
Within walking distance of the ferry terminal and situated on the main pedestrian thoroughfare of the town and close to its attractions (particularly the Pula Arena), the apartment was in a great location. The self check-in via a locked box was seamless and the small kitchenette and washing machine were helpful amenities for travellers who have been on the move for a while.
Modern ground floor apartment with lots off nice touches, basic condiments, oil to hand. Television able to be used by your subscription apps & many English channels with Croatian subs.
It's a 30min walk into Pula Arena, but there are regular buses starting from the Mall.
Even has a washing machine.
We had a wonderful experience at this apartment! The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute walk from both the city center and the stunning Pula Arena.

We had a wonderful week holiday at Apartment for special getaway Nea
Very clean, tidy and comfortable central apartment in the centre of Pula. The Pula Arena is about a 10minute slow walk away.
We used the private parking and it is 400metres & a 5minute walk away.
The hosts waited for us outside of our arrival and greeted us. They were kind, and friendly and welcomed us with open arms. They showed us the apartment and told us a bit about the location. The apartment was cosy, with 2 rooms (bedroom, dining room and kitchen all together, and the second room was the bathroom). It also had a terrace with a wooden fence around it for privacy. We got some Croatian sweets and 2 croissants on the table plus it had a lot of games like uno and others available. The apartment was 10 minutes away from Pula Arena.
