Everything about our stay was wonderful - the room was spacious and so comfortable with some Christmas sweets, the breakfast unbeatable, and the location perfect for us - but the best thing was the staff. Every interaction we had with them left us feeling great, they were smiley, helpful and efficient. We wished we were staying longer and would definitely stay here again.

What I like most is the helpful and easy going staffs. They are so chilled and really understand what we need. My tiny nest is clean and tidy. It even has a small pot where the plants live, that s very touching. I m also surprised to find we can use the sauna. I 'm really happy to choose it. It' s more expensive than the hostels where I stayed in Copenhagen but I appreciate the staffs of CityHub the most. I definitely recommend it to friends.

This is so worth a trip.
This is so worth a trip. You'll need a head for heights, but you can climb up the outside of the spire on a spiral stairway. The view from the top is excellent. You'll see most of Copenhagen, as well as Malmo and the Oresund Bridge.

I went to the church prior to the tower climb, you have to book online (busy periods) and select a time slot, the church is plain with some interesting statues, note elephants which feature heavily. The tower was a tough gig, however stopping points will be handy for most! The stairs are wooden until you get outside element, the final 70 steps decrease in width making passing an issue, be patient however you may enjoy the rest… the view is good and finders on the balcony will allow you to identify key buildings. They ring the bell and warn you with a flashing light… cover your ears well. The top other than the view just stops, then down you go. The spire is stunning, but like all these things you see the grandeur from a distance not so much while you’re close. There is an animated film in one of the lower levels which is interesting, with a puffin giving us a history lesson, they alternate between English and Danish so you’ll see is on the way up or down in your language.
Graffiti is everywhere, I find this disappointing and disrespectful, however more common in Europe than in the UK. Not the most iconic building in Copenhagen but maybe reaching the dizzy heights of the 400 steps will give you a sense of achievement which will make the pictures more interesting as a memory.

Good view, but if like me you don’t like heights don’t do it - it’s a narrow walkway so I didn’t stay long. Head for the Round Tower instead, good views too and a lot more space with reassuring solid feel!

The opening service for our International Luther Research...
The opening service for our International Luther Research Conference in 2003 was held here. When I attended a morning swervice there in 2018, they kindly let us bring in our suitcases and store them in a spare room for an hour - then invited us to join in a coffee hour later.
The view of the city from the church tower (bombed by the British Fleet in 1812) is also exceptional.
