I was fortunate to be a guest on opening day for the new facility, and the staff made me feel like royalty.

We loved everything. It was spacious and clean. The view was amazing! We loved that it had a hot tub overlooking the ocean. The sunset is amazing! Also, we loved and appreciated that when we got to our room that there was an envelope welcoming us! In the letter they also stated that there was a gift in the fridge. It was a bottle of sparkling wine. I've stayed many places and no other rental has done that for us. So we thought that was a very nice gesture.

Easy access to some of the major redwood sights. We loved it here! My daughter literally cried when it was time for us to leave.

Set in Trinidad, just 31 km from Humboldt State University, Lost Whale Inn offers beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, massage services, a garden and free WiFi. Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming. Brian had great recommendations regarding things to do and see in the area. The breakfast is out of this world and the best we’ve had in any bed and breakfast that we’ve stayed at. Comfortable and excellent views from anywhere on the property. This was our third stay and we will be back again.
