Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Casa Azul is situated in Guanajuato, 400 metres from La Paz Square and less than 1 km from Alhondiga de Granaditas Museum. Our stay at Casa Azul in Guanajuato was simply fantastic. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with a balcony, which was not only beautifully designed but also equipped with all the amenities: a private bathroom with WC, a small refrigerator that worked perfectly, and a huge, incredibly comfortable bed. Everything worked flawlessly and left nothing to be desired. Casa Azul also impressed us with its charming courtyard full of plants and a bubbling fountain – a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. There was a small shared kitchenette with hot and cold water, as well as coffee. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace, where we spent relaxed moments both in the morning and evening. The location of the accommodation is ideal – very central, allowing us to walk to all the important sights. The security system at the front door is exceptionally good, giving us an extra sense of safety. The Wi-Fi also worked perfectly, both in our room and in the common areas. The host was extremely kind and friendly. She took the time to explain everything in detail, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. We especially want to highlight her efforts towards sustainability: she paid attention to responsible water usage and, for example, provided us with a bucket to collect water while it heated up. We highly recommend Casa Azul. It was a wonderful experience, and we would have loved to stay longer! If you’re looking for a place in Guanajuato where you can feel completely at ease, this is the one!

Very quiet location although only 15min walk to the historical centre. Very rich and tasteful breakfast.

Wonderful, comfortable bed. Gwen’s delicious and delightful breakfast is completely homemade and fabulous! Loved the ambiance of the patio and fountain. And great view of SMA from the uppermost terrace, open to all. The proprietors, Rocky and Gwen, will indeed make you feel like new best friends upon your arrival! Wonderful wonderful B&B. The property is very very clean and super modern. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the roof terrace with a great view of the whole city. The breakfast is so good and the staff is great and super friendly 😀

Casa 86 er staðsett í San Miguel de Allende, í innan við 12 km fjarlægð frá Sanctuary of Atotonilco og 1,2 km frá ferð Chorro. The location is great, right in the centre close to the main square and nice cafes and restaurants. The rooms are basic but enough for a few days to explore the town. Rooms are clean and mine was cool enough without airco. I first had a downstairs room that I found too dark and moved to an upstairs room that I like more and that had more daylight. The bed and shower were good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gracias!

No problem with WIFI, worked well. Staff very helpful and friendly . Location in good walking distance to center. Nice Park and restaurants in the neighborhood. Will come back for future travels.
