I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. This quietly located guest house is 12 km from Grindelwald village centre. Location unbeatable. On top of the mountain. Perfect for stargazing if night sky is clear but I didn’t go out because I was scared what if I cant open the main gate with the code. But I am sure if I had asked the staff before they went off work, they would have showed. Staff is very helpful. They offered to heat my food for me. i could sit in the restaurant even when I was having my own food. I went on romantic trail and it was beautiful and started right from the property.

The Drei Berge Hotel is facing the three highest peaks in Switzerland and is named after them (The Three Mountains). The Jungfrau peak is protected by UNESCO and gives its name to the restaurant where you can drink water of the valley, the purest in the world. The hotel service is good, and it is kept clean and comfortable. We booked a balcony room, it has a good view, and the double room is a little smaller, but also good. The location of the hotel is also good, and It's next to the cable car station. Unfortunately, since we went to the Jungfrau, we were not able to have dinner in the hotel. Next time I go to Murren,I will book the hotel again.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.

The rooms offer views of the mountains including the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh, all over 4000 metres high. Very friendly staff, nice and clean room.

The Alpenblick hotel is situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. It was a beautiful old building kept very clean, staff was always very nice. I got a room upgrade which was so unexpected and wow for me. Breakfast was also good. Bus stop was directly outside the property and they give a bus pass which gives free bus access inside Grindelwald. And of course the location is perfect because its location a couple stops away from the bahnhof which is usually noisy and crowded. They were helpful right from beginning answering my concerns and trying to help in every possible way. Their service was just superb. I would definitely stay with them if I visit Grindelwald again.

Situated in Steffisburg, 26 km from Bärengraben, Gasthof Schnittweierbad features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Among the facilities at this property are room service and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The inn offers garden views and a children"s playground. We liked the comfy beds, the friendly check-in and the overall vibe of the Gasthaus! We had a fantastic stay.

Berghaus Iffigenalp is set in Lenk and has a garden and a terrace. Guests can enjoy mountain views.

The inn offers some units that feature a balcony and garden view, and all rooms have a shared bathroom and a wardrobe. The property was nice and rustic. Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.
