Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The owner of the guest house is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a bath with a shower. There was a fridge outside the room for communal use and cups/ glasses for use on the room. Good quality towels were provided. The guest house is in a lovely quiet area within walking distance of the train and bus station.
Extremely nice and cozy B&B (I don't understand why it's not classified as a hotel). Really nice and friendly staff. The cafe downstairs served delicious and authentic breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. A lot of locals ate there, witch is a good sign.
Loved the cats and the garden.
The hotel was very nice, in the heart of Sigulda near shops and a wooded park area. It had an older well-kept atmospheric inn section as well as a newer modern section.
The attached restaurant was very good for dinner, and the breakfast up to European standards.
The staff were lovely and helpful and went out of their way to explain things to us in English. Our twin room was very cosy and quiet on the top floor of the building behind. We were able to store our bicycles safely here. The food at Kakis is just wonderful with so many delicious choices for dinner and breakfast, which was excellent. The adjoining bakery is very tempting! Really enjoyed our stay here.
My second experience and as great as my first one. Nice little room, clean and well equipped, a fantastic breakfast, and absolutely nice personnel and owner. And I recommend the restaurant for lunch of dinner, great value for price and nice home made cooking. Easy parking and well located in Sigulda with plenty of places to hike in.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area. My room was spotless! Had dinner in the restaurant. Great food and super service!
