There was a fridge outside the room for communal use and cups/ glasses for use on the room. Good quality towels were provided. The guest house is in a lovely quiet area within walking distance of the train and bus station.

The cafe downstairs served delicious and authentic breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. A lot of locals ate there, witch is a good sign. It had an older well-kept atmospheric inn section as well as a newer modern section. The attached restaurant was very good for dinner, and the breakfast up to European standards.

Our twin room was very cosy and quiet on the top floor of the building behind. We were able to store our bicycles safely here.The food at Kakis is just wonderful with so many delicious choices for dinner and breakfast, which was excellent. The adjoining bakery is very tempting! Nice little room, clean and well equipped, a fantastic breakfast, and absolutely nice personnel and owner. And I recommend the restaurant for lunch of dinner, great value for price and nice home made cooking. Easy parking and well located in Sigulda with plenty of places to hike in.
