Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and comfort of the bedding. We used the shuttle bus to Nagano Station to go to dinner and that was a very nice amenity.
This place is really fabulous. The owners are really charming and welcoming. The room was quiet, clean and very confortable. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and delicately presented. Probably the best meals we had in Japan.
Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location is ideal for hiking and visiting the Togakushi shrine. The owners clearly care about the experience of their guest and do there best to accommodate them.
The hotel is connected to the station shopping mall and very convenient. The service is great. We ate dinner at the Japanese restaurant here which has beautiful course meals with reasonable price.
The guest house was really cute and comfy. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean. The bed was good. I had a great stay. I recommend it warmly, especially to solo travellers.
Location was perfect, right where you want to be. I loved my room and it was really clean. Staff was super friendly. Although I wasn’t able to reserve for dinner, the breakfast was amazing
Loved the onsen! Appreciated the fresh cold water to drink after onsen. Loved the location and the cleanliness of the inn. Loved the robes provided each day and the tea and snacks.
Breakfast and dinner (when I chose to dine in) was very good. I had a room with a view and appreciated the fact that I could open the windows to let in fresh air. While good service is expected in Japan, nevertheless I thought the staff at reception exceptionally considerate and attentive.
Huge, traditional room, with tatami mats, dinning space and private bathroom. Great onsen we had to ourselves.
Traditional Japanese breakfast was big and very tasty.
Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, but for us it was a plus.
