Nice, well-designed room. The decor resonates with the name. The coziness of the river dee makes it better, though there were constructions going on when we arrived. It still was worth what was paid for it. Nice staff as well; I sure will come back.

Great little apartment above a community owned pub. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The pub has limited hours outside of Thursday to Sunday, but someone was available to let us in. Breakfast is very limited, but there's a small community shop next door for supplies and snacks. We stopped there while hiking Offa's Dyke and were very happy with our choice.

A big shout out to Kirsten who greeted us on reception and was very helpful in getting us a taxi to the event we were attending.
The food menu was very comprehensive and food tasted great.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The TV wasnt tuned in which is always an issue as working away alone I do value a TV . Aside from this the room was clean ,comfortable and spacious . The dinner was excellent and the breakfast nice (could so with serviettes on table at breakfast) Staff really pleasant
Made to feel really welcome. Fresh complementary hens eggs and some milk waiting for us which was a nice touch. Friendly owners. Typical farming area, so you can expect to hear horses whinnying/neighing and there’s a bird scarer which goes off every so often (just a little bang noise). If you’re from the country then these are everyday sounds. I can imagine if you’re from the town then it might be a bit odd.
Plenty of parking for our van. WiFi on site.
Located conveniently for mountainbiking at the Llandegla trail ctr.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and I loved having a window that could be opened. We had booked in for dinner which was delicious and we also had breakfast included. The breakfast was made to order which I much prefer. This hotel is in a really lovely old building.
When I finally arrived I changed out of wet clothes, Slept for an hour. Room etc was good. Decided to have drink. Gin and Tonic and dinner. Best Gammon, chips, egg, peas, tomato. So good. I asked waiter to tell 👨🍳
Staff were helpful as extremely pleasant. The cheesecake at dinner was excellent.
