The Dundas Arms, hotel in Kintbury,

Situated in the village of Kintbury, The Dundas Arms features free Wi-Fi, and a country pub and restaurant. This Georgian property is nestled between the Kennet and Avon Canal and the River Kennet.

The location is excellent, on the canal and very close to the train station. Check in was fast, the staff were always on hand and helpful. We would recommend an evening meal here as the food is excellent, also the breakfast which is a perfect start before setting off for a walk along the canal. A great selection of drinks availabe at the bar but can be quite busy between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.

The Queen's Arms is situated north of the M4 at East Garston: leave the motorway at exit 14 and take A338 northwards, turning left at Great Shefford towards Lambourn. It presents a somewhat rustic appearance - a country pub with extensions. However the rooms are comfortable and the cooking is very good - dinner and breakfast were much enjoyed.
