The Blue Bell Inn, hotel in Emsworth

Located in Emsworth and with Prinsted Beach reachable within 2.5 km, The Blue Bell Inn provides a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

Great location, right on the harbour with loads of other pubs and eateries nearby. A 20min train ride to Pompey too. The Bluebell itself is my kind of pub, good range of beers and little nooks to drink in. Really nice furnishings and facilities in the room. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had! There was a heating issue (not their fault) and they went out of their way to sort things out (which they did) and make it up to us. Genuinely superb service from the staff.

The Horse and Groom Inn, hotel in Emsworth

A 8-minute drive from Chichester, The Horse & Groom is a newly refurbished 17th century pub with delicious award-winning food and ale.

Super find. Lovely traditional English pub at the foot of Kingly Vale and a short nip from Chichester Cathedral Town and beautiful Bosham Harbour. You can let yourself in and out, very unintrusive hosts but always on hand when needed. Breakfast was great and the pub restaurant menu, draught ales and open fire were welcome too.

Great cooked to order English breakfasts. The tastiest bacon and sausages I've had in a while. The happy attentive staff offer tea and coffee fill ups. I visit Hayling Island fishing 5 times a year for last 8 and have stayed most places including the hotels. This is my second visit. It's hard to beat, although it's 15 minutes away. If you are thinking premier inns in the area don't.

Excellent location near to Goodwood, close to Portsmouth and Chichester. The staff were extremely friendly and the lounge was a great place to drink with people before dinner. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms large. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. Not to be faulted and worth a stay outside of Goodwood weekends.

Easy check in with friendly informative staff. Beds were very comfortable with crisp linens. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was the best yet - and we've had a few over the past 4 weeks in the U.K. We thought the walk to the pubs by the quay was far - but once we did it - we were fine. Safe paths to get you there and back safely. The people in Emsworth are over the top friendly. Exactly why we like guest houses in the U.K.

The Manager met me at the door, gave me a very warm welcome and directed me to the car park. The room was modern, tastefully decorated and exceptionally, exceptionally clean. It was one of the most peaceful nights I have had at any hotel or guest house. There was a plentiful supply of complimentary bottled water and a modern coffee maker as well as a mini-bar in the room. It was luxurious.
