You could tell they wanted you to feel welcome. As it was our honeymoon, they went to the extreme of putting petals on the bed, along with a lovely note and some free croissants and chocolate. It was a lovely gesture.

Located 6 km south from the centre of Lyon, ibis Lyon Sud Oullins is an eco-friendly hotel located on the banks of the Rhône River. The rooms are spacious, clean and new. The hotel has very good sound proofing as we can't hear anything happening outside our bedroom. The location is very good for a quick stop when going from Paris to Cote d'Azur. The restaurant was also a very good surprise and we had a very good dinner when arriving!

The dinner at their restaurant was very good! And they have kids menu. The breakfast buffet is very good and varied . Staff were very friendly. It is a perfect choice for staying one night when in roadtrip. It is next to a bowling (literally next door) and there is a hall of food stands in front . There is a crocodile farm 6 min away in car which makes for an excellent activity with kids . Reception open 24 hours Nice pool (car noise obviously present)
