Located in front of the train station, ibis Strasbourg Centre Gare is a 24-hour reception hotel with a bar and air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV with cable channels. Got super lucky with our room and had a wonderful view of the area outside the station, which had a unique tree lit for Christmas time. Very comfy room and great facilities, even got a complimentary treat for staying with them at Christmas time. No complaints, great experience and location.

This ibis hotel is located in Lingolsheim, 10 km from Strasbourg TGV stationand, less than a 10-minute drive from both Strasbourg Entzheim International Airport and from the Zenith cultural centre. The stay was better than I expected. I like how the hotel has the old-fashioned design (like the hallway to the room) though they decorated the interior with trendy theme. The room was a perfect fit for a single traveler or small-sized couple, but may be too small for a group or family. The AC works and sometimes when it didn't work, you can call the receptionist and they can fix the AC remotely - this happened only once. The room is quiet and even though the hotel sits at a moderately traffic area, I still could sleep well. The staff is very nice too - you could get a cold/hot water refill and you could ask for a bowl to warm up your leftover in a microwave. Their English can be limited but they try their best to help you out. There also a supermarket that is 2 minutes away and the train station (strasbroug routheig) is 5 mins away. There are some of restaurants adjacent to this hotel.
