Stayed here with some friends for short break in Carcassonne. We got a triple room for the 3 of us as we just needed somewhere cheap with a great location to sleep and shower and this place was ideal. If you're after somewhere luxurious then I'd look elsewhere but if you just need a clean bed in a central location then you wont be disappointed. Paid far more to stay in far worse and would 100% stay again.
Great location. Smaller than the average shower in the room but I think ours was the smallest and cheapest. Clean and bright. Kitchenette at the rooftop floor of the property is very nice. Steep stairs so be careful. Friendly staff let us do our washing. A good stay all in all
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast and evening meals were of a higher standard than we have experienced at many other Ibis hotels.
The hotel is dull in the extreme - it was like a prison cell. the lights were so dull they were useless. The room was the smallest we've ever had in an ibis hotel - doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. Almost left during the night as the air con was an unacceptable smell - old and never refurbished. The bathroom was so small we had to keep the door open to be able to use it and turn around. Toilet needs replacing. the worst ibis we've ever stayed in.
Strategically well situated budget option in Carcasonne, clean and professional as one is used by the Ibis chain of hotels.
No frills, just the necessities - if that's what you are after, you may have found your accommodation.

the parking was very accessible yet the location was also great for the city.
the kids loved the medieval theme in the hotel and the free water bottles were a hit too!
