This unit is a small studio a few steps from the ocean, if you are on a budget and want to experience the real Hawaii this place is for you.The kitchen is fully stocked. The swimming pool and gym are just around the corner. AC in the living room. This is an older building with a 1970's vibe. It's located in a beautiful stretch of white sand beach, home to several turtles all year around. We don't have AC in the apartment, but we provide multiple floor fans and ceiling fans to help on the year's hottest days. Additionally, we prepare a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, hand and dish soap, and body wash- Additional items will be your responsibility. This building is under renovation, and you can expect construction workers to be there Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm, with weekends being construction free. We will inform you of any restrictions you may have during your stay as soon as we are told. PARKING: You will have ONE parking pass, but because of construction, some stalls may be blocked, so it becomes first come, first serve, and you can park anywhere marked BHL; if you don't find a stall available, you can park on the street and make sure to lock your doors. Please, no reverse parking. IMPORTANT: There is some construction going on at the building (Pat's at Punalu'u). Please plan on some unsightly construction scaffolding and signs as well as possible loud construction noise Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (No construction happens on the weekends). The vast majority of our guests still have a truly amazing experience here regardless of the construction and we think you will too! We are happy to answer any questions you have.

Ocean Front Right on the Beach! The Beach is protected by a reef a ways out so it's perfect for snorkeling without the bigger waves. Beaches with big waves are nearby! Shrimp Truck, Thai Food Truck, Burger Food Truck, Vietnamese Pho Food Truck, Hawaiian Ice stand and convenience store with local food counter half block away across the street! Less than 5 miles to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaii’s #1 paid attraction, draws millions of visitors annually with their world-class entertainment, learning, shows, and luaus. There is a Longs drugstore and two grocery stores in the area. Five minutes away, Laie Beach Park has great year round larger waves for body surfing. Turtle Bay Resort Golf Courses/Restaurants and World Famous North Shore Surfing Beaches a short drive away. If it's winter, along the North Shore you'll be treated to 30 to 40-foot tall waves and some of the world's best surfers. You'll also find Waimea Bay and the beautiful Waimea Falls Park with its sacred sites, waterfall and wonderful hula dancers. Or drive a few more miles to the quaint town of Haleiwa and its many art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. There is also horseback riding nearby and of course, the beach and the ocean - right outside your door!
