We are a Belgian family with two teenage children who for years dreamt of running our own bed & breakfast. After travelling a big part of the world and some of the seven seas we decided to revisit our honeymoon destination: Portugal. We fell head over heels for this beautiful part of the Portuguese Silver Coast. We left our beloved city of Ghent in Belgium and moved to Serra do Bouro, a quaint village close to the Atlantic Ocean and the beaches of Foz do Arelho, São Martinho do Porto, Nazaré, Peniche and Baleal. During our trips around the world we stayed at many places, from exclusive luxury retreats to small ultra-basic beach huts. That diversity is what taught us the essentials for a traveller, which is exactly what we, at Flamboyant b&b, offer our guests every day: a comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, a delicious breakfast and attentive service.
