Senja Moments As is run by sisters Sissel and Wenche Hole. Starting in may 2019, we took over the lease on the local governments property on Tranøya.

On Tranøya we offer comfortable accommodations, home-made food and different activities in historic surroundings. To get to the island, we will pick you up by boat. On the 5 minute crossing to Tranøya, you may spot seabirds and other arctic wildlife. We provide any clothing or equipment needed for the crossing. They say the first settlers came to Tranøya over 2000 years ago, and the island has a rich history. On Tranøya we rent out rooms and apartments in the old vicarage, built in 1856. The farm`s closest neighbor is Tranøy Kirke, a church buildt in 1773. The church is open to visitors. Midt-Troms museum has an exhibit in the oldest vicarage, buildt in the 1740s. Some of the activities available are kayak and SUP-rental, fishing, cooking-classes, hiking on the island, watching the wildlife, visiting the museums exhibit, and guided tour of tufts and graves from the viking-age. We are also available for different events, enquire for availability. The island offers a variety of wildlife, including moose in the winter, seal, otter, eagle and other animals and birds. On our farm we have sheep.
