The apartment has a large living room, entrance hall, rather small kitchen and bath. Two bedrooms and they are spacious with good closets. There is one King size bed in one room and two single beds in the other. In the bathroom is both shower and bathtub. From the living room you can go out on the balcony.
I'm a teacher in elementary school and have been teaching  for 30 years. My additional education is information technology, environmental protection and sustainability. I enjoy golf, skiing, swimming and hiking in nature. I travel frequently domestically and knows the country Iceland very well.
There is a short walk to Öskjuhlíð. There is Perlan with a good view over the city and other municipalities. In The Perlan you can find a very good revolving restaurant with a panoramic view. A little bit further is Nauthóll restaurant and Nauthólsvík where you can take a bath and find Icelandic beach live. The park in front of the house is child-friendly. During the winter time it may be possible to see the northern lights and create a snowman. It is a 5 minute walk to Laugavegur which is the main shopping street of Reykjavik. The city centre is in a 15 minute walking distance and there you can find good restaurants and shops. You can take bus no. 13 downtown which stops in front of the house. Kringlan the main shopping mall in Reykjavík is in walking distant but you can also take bus no. 13. Swimming pool is in 5 minute walking distance. A great location with all that Reykjavik has to offer. Possibilities for walks around the city short or long. Many great restaurants and big bus station (BSI) for longer trips very close by. Another big bus station (Hlemmur) for local transportations. Reykjavík (domestic) airport is very near.
