Kaminakia is and has always been a proud family business. My name is Yorgos and I like to hike, swim, read and meditate. I have chosen to live on this lovely island all-year round. ⚫ I love watching the faces of our guests slowly change, as they're turning into a more peaceful and contented version of themselves and as the days go by, most of our friends intuitively start smiling even more, walking slower, talking softer, willingly captivated by the rejuvenating meditative atmosphere of the place. ⚫ On that note, if your dream holiday is a vibrant and expressive, loud all-night party, nothing wrong with that and we'd be more than happy to recommend another accommodation in the area, as Kaminakia would probably not suit your needs. ⚫ If you appreciate a serene, quiet and soothing adult-only atmosphere... Combined with a revitalising large swimming pool equipped with plenty gratuitous sun loungers and umbrellas, free and fast Wi-Fi in all public spaces and swimming pool area (despite our best efforts, heavy building materials and general architecture weakens considerably indoor connectivity), book exchange scheme/lending library, and free parking on site. ⚫ Basic, old-school greek accommodation, rustic, humble, nothing too fancy or incompatible with the surrounding aesthetics, spotlessly clean, individual Apartments & Studios with their rough-cast walls and high wooden ceilings, A/C, fully equipped kitchen, traditional raised platform beds, safety deposit box and large private verandas with stunning sea views.. ⚫ Moreover, if you appreciate knowing that our team is 24/7 on call, making sure that nothing will disturb your peace, then think no further! We, at Kaminakia, are more then happy to honour you as our guest!

Ideal for guests who will be exploring the island and need a welcoming base to rest, prepare a light meal and enjoy the peace and quiet while organising their next excursion. Small kitchenette, wc, bedroom with queen double bed, A/C and private panoramic sea view veranda. ⚫ -- 2. Apartment I (42m2) : More spacious than a Studio. First row. Ideal for guests who prefer a more comfy approach and will appreciate a more spacious accommodation, guests who will enjoy making themselves at home in their apartment, veranda and swimming pool with the occasional dinner at the harbour. Bigger kitchen, wc, spacious bedroom with queen double bed, living room with sofa beds, A/C and large panoramic sea view veranda. ⚫ -- 3. Apartment II (42m2) : Same as above, with the added benefit of either upper floor, left nonadjacent accommodation, more seclusion or a combination of all the aforementioned. ⚫ All accommodations have access to all communal areas, gardens, swimming pool and share the same breathtaking sea view. ⚫ Please take account of a short 70m uphill access driveway (or alternatively flight of steps) leading from the coastal road to the property -making it perhaps unsuitable for guests with severe limitations on physical functioning. Necessary though, to ensure undistracted serenity and panoramic sea views from each and every veranda, while at the same time being conveniently close to Fiscardo center...

Neighbourhood information

⚫ The rest, is up to you... You can either head for the pool, go snorkeling at the sea right underneath, rent a kayak, motor boat, scooter, quad bike, car or perhaps put on your hiking boots and explore one of the many footpaths, take a delightful 10 minute stroll to Fiscardo centre where all restaurants, bars, super markets & souvenir shops are located, or... just relax and unwind! Open a bottle of the delicate floral kefalonian wine, light some scented candles and create your private little piece of heaven engulfed in the convenience of your veranda. ⚫ Late at night, after the last cicada has gone to sleep, our friends from the big city centres blissfully discover the only thing they can hear are the waves of the sea. And there are times when even that, just fades away... ⚫ Now... imagine for a moment, being surrounded by clear blue skies, deep-green cypress trees and crystalline turquoise waters. Thyme and sage scented slopes and wild heather mountainsides back in the distance, an old abandoned donkey trail up ahead, where hikers occasionally pass by and more often goats graze peacefully. Perhaps you can already hear their bells tingling. Right underneath your feet a cute little cove, its turquoise crystal waters welcoming you, out in the distance the island of Ithaca. ⚫ Maybe you can already feel the sea breeze caressing your face, the vibrant sun on your skin, the scent of wild oregano and basil invading your nostrils, travelling among the garden's citrus trees and the multitude of colorful wild flowers before entering through your windows, to blend with the scent of fresh linen and the dried wild lavender in your wardrobe.
