Higher Furzeland Farmhouse is a Grade II* Listed building with adjoining barns, gardens and offering a separate self-catering one bedroom Cottage ‘The Linhay'. The Linhay, a self contained character cottage has been extensively refurbished with an impressive bespoke glazed wall on the Northerly aspect plus providing a new entrance, passive central heating system, oak flooring, new kitchen and lighting. We have dogs, horses, sheep, chickens and geese, plus occasional visiting animals and the local occasional visiting wildlife, including 'Harry' the Hawk (Buzzard). We grow most of our own vegetables and fruit. It is a usually very peaceful area and a nature lovers delight, but at certain times of the year such as lambing or haymaking there may be noise and activity during the night. Higher Furzeland is situated at the bottom of a farm track. Farm tracks are not suitable for sports, lowered cars or cars with skirts. Normal cars will normally have no problem on the bumpy farm track.
